Balo-i children draws peace on paper

BALO-I, Lanao Del Norte – Children staying at the evacuation centers of Balo-i town in Lanao Del Norte expressed their minds about peace thru poster making contests, Sunday, July 23.

The peace poster making contests was initiated by the soldiers of the CMO Joint Task Group Tabang (JTG Tabang) to make the children aware of the significance of “peace” in their future.

The activity was also made to stress out their trauma about the violence brought to them by the terrorists.

Soldiers were surprised when they saw how children stroke their crayons to put into drawings their perception of “peace”.

It can also be seen in their innocent faces their happiness when they submitted their simple but meaningful masterpieces.

Soldiers promised to give gifts and rewards to the drawings that will stand out among others.
