CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City –
(From left) Secretary of National Defense Delfin Lorenzana, Chinese
Ambassador to the Philippines Zhao Jianhua and Armed Forces of the
Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Eduardo Año inspect the second
batch of assault rifles donated by the Chinese government in a handover
ceremony on Thursday, 05 October 2017 at the Canopy Area of the General
Headquarters here. The AFP through the Department of National Defense
receives 3,000 units of assault rifles with 3-million rounds of
ammunition; and 90 scopes for the sniper rifles that were part of the
