AFP Has New Apostolic Administrator

AFP HAS NEW APOSTOLIC ADMINISTRATOR. Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomes Bishop Oscar Jaime Florencio, D.D., Apostolic Administrator of Military Ordinariate of the Philippines, as appointed by Pope Francis. BGen Henrico Rennaldo Macalalad AFP, Chief Dental Service AFP led the arrival honors to the new apostolic administrator in a Canonical Assumption of Office Ceremony here at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City last Monday, 14 August 2017.

Bishop Florencio is the concurrent apostolic administrator of the military (including AFP, Philippine National Police, and Philippine Coast Guard) and the auxiliary bishop of Cebu. He took over from the late Bishop Most Rev. Leopoldo Tumulak. (Photo by SSg Obinque/PAOAFP)
