AFP Chief visits Headquarters PNP
LtGen Faustino was rendered with arrival honors as he paid a courtesy call to PNP Chief, Police General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar. During the visit, PGEN ELEAZAR congratulated the AFP Chief for his well-deserved assumption and wished him good luck as he leads the men and women of the AFP.
The AFP Chief on the other hand thanked PGEN ELEAZAR and assured him of the military’s full cooperation towards their common goals of protecting the people and the state.
LtGen Faustino assured the police force of the AFP’s full commitment to existing agreements particularly the recently signed Resolution No. 11-2021 of the Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Center (JPSCC). The said agreement is a tripartite mechanism of the AFP, PNP where the Philippine Coastguard (PCG) is now made an integral part of the JPSCC to further enhance peace and security efforts of the government./// (Photo by TSg Obinque PAF/PAOAFP)
