AFP joins 125th Rizal Day Commemoration

 

 

The Armed Forces of the Philippines joins the 125th martyrdom anniversary of National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal on Thursday, December 30 at the Rizal National Monument in Manila.

The AFP Chief of Staff General Andres C Centino PA serves as military host to President Rodrigo Duterte for the flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremonies.

Also present in the activity are Dr. Rene Escalante, Chairman of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines; Senator Bong Go; Manila Mayor Isko Moreno; Secretary of National Defense, Delfin Lorenzana; and Secretary of Interior and Local Government, Eduardo Año.
