Army sends off new lieutenants

BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Commanding General, Philippine Army leads
the reception and send-off ceremony of 453 new second lieutenants
today, May 26 at the Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command, Camp
O’Donnell, Capaz, Tarlac.
The newly-commissioned lieutenants,
composed of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 2020, Officer
Preparatory Course (OPC) Class 71-2019, and Officer Candidate Course
(OCC) Class 53-2020 will be deployed to
various units of the Army and will lead in the frontlines against the
communist NPA terrorists, the Abu Sayyaf Group, and other security
threats.
