SFRA conducts a joint closing ceremony for 195 graduates of Airborne operations courses
The Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) [SFR(A)] recently concluded its Airborne operation trainings with a total of 195 graduates from various classes on June 7, 2023 at the SFRA Headquarters, Fort Ramon Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
The successful graduates were composed of 116 soldiers from Special Basic Airborne Course (Class 137-23), 21 from Jump Master Course (Class 89-23), 25 from Parachutist Packing Course (Class 56-23), and 33 from Military Free-Fall Course (Class 31-2023). The training prepares the soldiers’ physical, mental, and emotional state while performing the roles that will be assigned to them for their assignments.
Likewise, Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Deputy Commander Brig. Gen. Alvin C. Flores served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the joint closing ceremony. He congratulated the students for hurdling the challenges and hardships of the training. “Your success today testifies to your dedication and perseverance to finish the course. Mark in your mind the knowledge you learned and maximize both in your personal and military life,” he said.
